Hello everyone, I am Gao Cheng from Shenzhen Beyond Technology, who has been suffering from sciatica recently.

A while ago, we, Shenzhen Beyond Technology, exhibited at ChinaJoy 2024, a large-scale Chinese game and digital entertainment event held in Shanghai, China. I would like to share with you our feelings about participating in the exhibition this time.

Personally, since this is my first time to Shanghai, I went to this exhibition with great anticipation. I hope that after reading this article, everyone will be interested in our company’s activities.

What is China Joy?

China Joy is a large-scale game event held annually in Shanghai. The event will bring together game and digital entertainment companies, as well as game-related peripheral companies to participate in the exhibition and exchange ideas.

Of course, the exhibitors and visitors of the event come from all over China and overseas, making this event another international event.

The appearance of the event venue

Especially this time, Beyond Technology also participated in this event as an exhibitor. During the exhibition, I found that other exhibitors were not limited to China, but were conducting business globally. This made me feel the huge scale of the market.

In conversations with other exhibitors, many companies “have already conducted business overseas” or “have business dealings with many overseas companies”. Just hearing this information gave me a considerable sense of excitement.

After exchanging WeChat or business cards, the other party’s message came immediately. I was surprised by the speed that is not common in Japan and unique to China.

In addition, I am personally more interested in the fact that China’s leading food delivery company “Meituan” also sent its game department, Meituan Games (měituán yóuxì), to the exhibition. I had no chance to communicate with them in Japan, but this time I had the honor of chatting with them a lot.

Conclusion

Although it was the first time for both the company and me to participate in ChinaJoy, we received a lot of consultation contacts from WeChat and emails after the exhibition. In addition, through this exhibition, we established connections with many companies, which is also a great gain.

I hope that I can make full use of these connections when doing business in Shenzhen. I am still learning Chinese, and I will continue to work hard to achieve communication in Chinese as soon as possible!
